Rising Above Challenges: How I Built My Freelancing Business

Beginning of My Freelancing Journey

My name is Muhammad Ghazi Khan, and I come from a village in District Muzaffargarh. In 2019, I joined the University of Education to study BS Physics. My life took a different turn when I met a man from my Village who would change my life forever: Sir Habib Ur Rahman.

Sir Habib was skilled, and while studying, he was also building a freelancing career. He seemed independent and happy with his work, so I asked him about freelancing. He explained how freelancing could help people earn money without needing a traditional job. With his advice and encouragement, I decided to start my own freelancing journey.

First Year with Learning and Securing My First Order

With Sir Habib’s guidance, I began learning freelancing. We spent hours discussing strategies. His mentorship helped me understand the essentials. In this first year, Sir Muttie Ur Rahman also guided me. I felt lucky to have mentors ready to share their experiences.

After many hours of practice, I finally set up my first freelancing account. Getting my first order was not easy, but I kept applying and trying. One day, in 2021, my hard work paid off, and I received my first order. That first order was proof that I could make it as a freelancer, and it gave me confidence.

Discovering the Multiple Account Strategy

After working successfully on my first account, Sir Habib introduced me to managing multiple accounts. He explained that more than one account could help me get more orders and build a larger client base. I created multiple accounts on Fiverr, following his guidance. At first, managing them was challenging, but soon, I started seeing positive results, with more orders and clients.

This strategy boosted my freelancing career, allowing me to gain more experience and improve my skills quickly. I understood that with the right guidance, I could overcome challenges and succeed. This step taught me how to work smartly, which was important for my growth.

Achieving Stability and Growing a Team

Along the way, I faced challenges. Sometimes, my accounts got blocked, and I felt down. At one point, five of my accounts were blocked all at once. It felt like a huge setback, and I wondered if I should continue. But my friends, especially Malik Mubeen and Muhammad Arif, motivated me to keep going. They reminded me how far I had come.

With their support, I rebuilt my accounts. After six more months of hard work, I gained stability. In 2023, ten of my accounts were blocked again, but I was more resilient by then. Now, I am proud to say that I earn between three and four thousand dollars each month, which makes my family happy. After finishing my degree in 2023, I chose to become a full-time freelancer.

I expanded my work by building a team. Together, we now offer SEO and video editing services. My journey taught me that with dedication, teamwork, and resilience, great things can be achieved, even in tough times.

One of the biggest supporters in my journey has been Bright With Us. They provided valuable resources, guidance, and encouragement, even during difficult times. Their belief in me gave me the confidence to face challenges.

The institute taught me not only the skills needed for freelancing but also the mindset to succeed. They showed me the importance of patience, learning, and perseverance. I am grateful for their role in my journey. Bright With Us has been a true pillar of support, and without them, my success would not have been possible.

My Message to Pakistan’s Youth

Today, as I look back at my journey, I feel proud. Success is something anyone can achieve with the right attitude. My message to the youth of Pakistan is simple: learning skills is the key to a bright future. Freelancing offers a great opportunity for anyone willing to work hard.

For students, freelancing is a way to earn while learning. For those who have completed their studies, freelancing is a path to use your skills and serve clients worldwide. It doesn’t require a big investment. All you need is dedication and a willingness to learn.

Freelancing has changed my life and given me a sense of purpose. I hope my story inspires others to explore freelancing, work hard, and create a better future for themselves and their families. I believe in the potential of Pakistan’s youth, and with the right mindset, we can achieve great things.
